What is new about the iPhone 16?

 The iPhone 16 introduces several enhancements over previous models. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus feature a 48MP Fusion Camera, enabling a 2x optical-quality telephoto zoom, and a 12MP Ultra Wide camera with autofocus for macro photography. They also support capturing spatial photos and videos for viewing on the Apple Vision Pro. Additionally, a new Camera Control button mimics a DSLR shutter, allowing for easier access to camera settings, zoom, and exposure adjustments​



The devices are powered by the new A18 chip, which offers improved performance for tasks like gaming and running AI-driven features. For example, the Apple Intelligence features now include a Visual Intelligence mode, allowing the camera to recognize objects or places​

 The battery life has also been extended, offering up to 22 hours of video playback on the iPhone 16​(

For video, the iPhone 16 records with Spatial Audio and has a new Audio Mix feature for post-production sound adjustments​
